As we step into a new year, I want to pause and share a moment of gratitude and pride for what we have built together.
What began as an idea has grown into a living, breathing community. Over the past year, PS Society hosted eleven PS Connects meet-ups, launched our monthly theme programming to give women real tools for building and maintaining friendships, and gathered for our annual PS Retreat, creating intentional space for connection, reflection, and growth.
We also reached several meaningful milestones along the way. We hosted our first co-ed happy hour fundraiser, supported ten Dear Future Self activations, joined our first Chamber of Commerce, and laid important groundwork to support the long-term future of this organization. We began thoughtful conversations with leaders in the mental health industry about PS Society as a social prescription, an important step toward addressing the loneliness epidemic in real, practical, and human ways.
Most importantly, we met intentional people, partners, supporters, and friends who deeply care about connection, belonging, and supporting women in community. These relationships continue to shape who we are and where we are going.
This work only happens because people say yes. Yes to showing up. Yes to believing in something new. Yes to the understanding that friendship, community, and belonging can change lives in meaningful and lasting ways.

Stepping Into a New Year, Together
As we move into this new year, we’re excited about what’s unfolding and how we’ll continue to bring women together through both connection and action.
This winter, we’re hosting The Connection Classic, a women-centered indoor golf experience designed to be welcoming, beginner-friendly, and deeply rooted in community. Hosted by Paddle + Par in Beverly Hills, Michigan, the event brings summer golf energy into the middle of winter and invites women of all skill levels to step into confidence, play, and connection. Featuring a Zen-Golf workshop with Meg the Golfer, sound bath meditation, supportive simulator play, and meaningful conversation, The Connection Classic is about reimagining spaces where confidence is built and relationships grow.
January also marks a meaningful PS Connects x PS Serves Volunteer Day, where connection becomes action. We’re proud to partner with Amanda Sweet to support The ReVamp Clothing Swap Festival, a community-driven event focused on sustainability, access, and collective care. Our community will show up together during the afternoon volunteer shift, helping close out the day strong and supporting the behind-the-scenes work that makes these events possible. It’s a reminder that service, when done side by side, is one of the most powerful ways to build belonging.
Throughout the year, we’ll continue hosting PS Connects meet-ups, offering consistent, low-pressure opportunities for women to connect, build friendships, and feel less alone. We will host a self-defense class PS Connects this spring. We’re also already looking ahead to August, when our annual PS Retreat is scheduled in Southwest Michigan this year, giving us a shared moment to gather, reflect, and reconnect in a deeper way.
As we move forward, our focus remains on growing thoughtfully within Michigan, strengthening our local community and programs, and building a strong foundation before expanding nationally. We’re committed to growing with intention, care, and clarity.
As we step into this year, we do so with gratitude, momentum, and hope. Thank you for being part of this journey with us. Your support, encouragement, and trust matter deeply, and we’re honored to continue building this mission together.
Love, PS Society
P.S. We love you!
