This Full Moon Invites Us To Step Up and Take Responsibility

By Carolyn Kates, Clarity with Carolyn

Dark space with the different phase of the moon

Tomorrow we have a Full Moon in Capricorn, and there's a good chance that you are feeling its energies right now.

This Full Moon activates the Capricorn themes of discipline and responsibility, but through our hard work, there are rewards to be found!

Spiritually, every full moon prompts us to embrace our emotions, release patterns, connect with others, and elevate our energy.

This Full Moon in Capricorn wants us to parent ourselves and tell ourselves that everything will be okay. It wants us to take care of ourselves first before we take care of the needs of others.

This Full Moon Invites Us To Step Up and Take Responsibility

And this full moon invites us to step up and take responsibility for our lives. It doesn't want us to bypass, sugar coat, or hide from the truth. It wants us to own up to the facts, honor the truth of the emotions involved, and lead from a place of responsibility.

We may not be responsible for all of the past, but we are responsible for the next step we choose to take.

Today, set your intentions under the Full Moon energy to take ownership of your life and the direction you are choosing to walk. Bring acceptance to all that is around you. Recognize the feelings and emotions that circle, but also pay attention to your rational mind because Capricorns like to see things in black and white. Channel all of this into wisdom and own this chapter of your story, so you can let go of it and move forward.

Today, look for ways to take responsibility for every situation that you encounter. Ask yourself, 'How can I take responsibility for my life and the choices I have made?' Owning up to your mistakes, facing your challenges, and extracting wisdom will all be supported during this Full Moon. Full Moons are always powerful times to release and let go of all that is heavy, so embrace the path ahead, let go of the heaviness, and step into a new power.

Today, remember, just like the mountain goat, you too can scale the highest mountains and swim to the depths of the sea; you just need to remember that you can.

Just for today, I am willing to let go of everything that no longer serves any purpose in my life. I am willing to take responsibility for my life and my actions. As I am able to take better care of myself, I am able to take better care of those around me. I am willing to learn from this situation, and only good will come from it.

And so it is.
